In case you missed it, recently I was the featured radio guest on 91.1 FM WGTD Kenosha’s Education Matters program with host Sandy Jacoby, a retired Kenosha Unified School District  teacher, who was also one of my great mentors in high school.

We taped the interview just before I departed for New York, and it aired on September 1st.  In the interview, I talk about Teach For America as an organization, my personal experience in the classroom and the broader impact that Teach For America can have on the education gap in America.

If you are even remotely interested in Teach For America or my thoughts about my experience, I encourage you to give it a listen. The entire interview lasts about 45 minutes, and you can access the mp3 here.
